start

Through the vast darkness the journey begins. Pinpricks of light begin to form in my sight. We journey past countless stars, through wonders that snap into sharp focus for a fraction of a second only to be swiftly replaced by others as we sped by wonders of the cosmos until our focus centers on one spot of bright light. No different at first from all the others until we begin our decent toward its glow. As I watch the colors of light change and the waves roll upon one another giving this system a unique light of its own. As we come closer we see the globes of spinning matter rotating through their flight around the sun and focus in on one small planet in this vast system. Each planet reflects the light of its star in different ways and the planet we approach now reflects the pure light of its sun in a myriad of colors as we rush through the billowing clouds of the atmosphere. We begin to make out the signs of primitive civilizations dotted with pockets of magnificent, if underdeveloped, potential. As we race across the planets surface from its days to its twilights to deepest night, over oceans and planes we travel through mountain passes and vast forests through cities and country sides until two figures snap into our view. “Here” says a voice, “here we begin…”

About wyldewoody

I am a scholar and a preacher. I am a father, husband and friend. I have served my country and cussed my government and will continue to do both. I enjoy writing and you never know what you might find here in my posts. I will write about everything from my biblical opinion to scientific musings potentially bad stories to editorials about public policy and international affairs. I suppose that is blogging in general, if you like it great, if you don’t go somewhere else, if you disagree with me, great I love a good discussion. Hell might just find me ranting to the shadows in the corner. Kinda like I think I am doing now. And if my punctuation irritates you, that makes me happy.
